Global warming’ not unique

The findings [a review of literature by Harvard researchers] prove that the world experienced a Medieval Warm Period between the ninth and 14th centuries with global temperatures significantly higher even than today. ”

The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), however, says that the Medieval Warm Period does not establish a ‘counter case’ since there is no evidence that the phenomenon was global, like the present warming. The study is to be published in the journal Energy & Environment
